 3 days ago we went to cross country and we were ruining it was like race and there were people

 That were going to the finals but the tetcher did-int call how came first.

Tacos Tuesday - 100 word challenge

Today Mrs B has challenged us to write only 100 words for our blog.

The words are: calendar... washing...minuscule... sticky... white

I checked the calendar.  It was Tacos Tuesday. I was about to start cooking, when I saw this minuscule  little rat running around the kitchen. 

I jumped up onto the washing machine and wondered what to do.  Poison the rat or 

kick it out side?  I did both. Then I cleaned the house with a sticky white cleaner. Bam,  Bam... done. Checking every thing was clean, I finished our Tacos. Suddenly,  the rat ran back in across the bench and into the cupboard. All the glass wear fell out of the cabinet on to the table. Crap!! I'll be  grounded for a week!!

Kyla tells the teacher for notices every teacher tells.the notices and then all of the classes

Our Trip to Waitangi

 Last week we went on a trip to Waitangi.

Today for kiwi Can we played snap crackle pop. I enjoyed playing the game because  they  had to say a random name like snap crackle pop  and we had to make  a tunnel. and they had  to go under it and  our  catch phrase was like this  'we respect our school we well do it because we are cool'. The other game was somacalo  we had to put our hand  together and if it goes to ten and if they touch your hand your out.

Reflection

How did I show respect? I showed respect by sitting quietly in the circle and not mocking or teasing people for getting out.

What did I enjoy? I enjoyed playing somacalu because it was a challenging game but super fun because I didn't get out.

What could I improve on next time? I could improve on getting answers correct on G,K,Q. 

Tepunawari ora pools

 Our class tui went to Te punawari ora pools and it was fun because we had to go around the whole pool  with our snorkelling gear on.

 it was warm when we put our feet in. After a while it got kind of cold. The wet suits where really hard to put them on and off and he put a hoop in that we had to dive under. 

We had to swim all the way a round the hole pool and we also learnt that the peace sign is a hand signal for I am ok in the water.

our waitangi trip

On Tuesday when we went on our  trip to Waitangi. When we got off the bus and we went to this cool class room and we  were given 3D shapes that had been made by a 3D printer. They had lots of detail and the bus trip  took us an hour and a half. We then went on a tour around the grounds and we seen these real big boats and the boat have lasted for  1894. We also seen this big tree that they used for the  big boat so they can get over to other places and after that we went back to the class and done some coding on scratch. 

One thing I learnt was how to use the arrows keys to make your scratch sprite go to the side and the other side

traffic light  an all you have to do is when you call red light  and green light and yeollow light and the catch phrase was we are hoanest we are true we take ownership  for what we do .  and one of the other one  was bang so if someone says your name you have to shoot them with your hand. and the last

game was G.K.Q the person say any word and you have to get it right.

Times tables practise

WALT upload our math tasks and write about. 

Today our warm up task for maths was to practise our timetables. We are given a card that has 45 equations that you have to try and complete in 10 minutes. I was on my four times tables today. I really enjoyed it. If we complete all of the card in under 10 minutes and get all of them correct, we move up to the next card. If we don't complete them or get some wrong, we don't move up. Today I completed my four times table card in 8:05 minutes.

Reflection

What did I enjoy? I enjoyed doing my four times table card yesterday because I completed it and it made me feel good.

What could I improve on? I could improve on my time and try and get faster.

This is my work that I did today with Whaea Donna was in our classroom. I enjoyed doing . Our task was to listen to a video and write down as much information as we could about how to write a quality blog comment. Then we had to create a poster on google drawing of what we had learnt.  and it  was really fun.

last one was trafec jam and i found the jump clap walk stop one callnging because the kiwi can people were changing it and there names were jodci and  shale

We are learning to do a descriptive sentence.                                                                                                      We had to write about a picture and then we write in our own words and it. was really enjoyable .
And then write about and the we a post to do two a descriptive writing. and we write about 

an elephant  my one was about and  elephant rumbling the ground and we did it last week .

and we done one about a baby  crying   and iIand my favourite .was when the people got swept away.
